Managing Director Jocelyn Herath is an active participant in pop-up hospitals across Sri Lanka. We welcome your support for our future pop-up field hospitals in 2025. Here's a look at the work she has achieved at her previous pop-ups.

These dogs were abandoned on Vella Island by fishermen. The island is uninhabited for much of the year. There were about 100 dogs there. 2 mobile clinics in 2020 and 2022 have provided treatment, spaying and vaccinations.

Dr Chamith Nanayakkara is one of the professionals supporting the work of the pop-up clinics, monitoring the health of the dogs and working to manage and reduce the Island's dog population and to rehome dogs where this is a viable possibility.

The team is made up of several volunteers, giving their time for free, including Juse Fernando (right) whose brother Susantha provided the boats and whose mother cooked food for the team.

TVT (transmitted veneral tumour) treated with chemo and then spayed. Following chemo and spaying, life's a dream!! Check back soon for details of how you can help and support our work in 2025!
